Can I cancel my reservation?

You can cancel your booking for a full refund ANY TIME OUTSIDE of 24 HOURS of your reservation launch time.

INSIDE of 24 HOURS, no refunds under any circumstance. Rescheduling or gift cards only.

It can take up to 7-10 business days to see the credit on your account.

Do small children count as persons on pontoons?

Ohio law states that all children regardless of age or size count towards the maximum limit per boat.

What happens in bad weather?

We will always do everything in our power to get you on the water including changing the time or day of your reservation if necessary.

How do I rent a boat?
-
All rentals are made through our reservation system, therefore please reserve online by clicking HERE.

If you come to the Marina during a busy time, we provide laptops for you to make a reservation. If we are not busy we will be happy to make a reservation for you.
​
Can I rent a pontoon for only one hour?
-
Yes, but only during the last hour of the day. You will need to call us or visit in person to make this reservation. Otherwise, all rentals are for a 2-hour minimum.

Do I need to pay a deposit?
-
No. We require payment in full at the time of your reservation.
​
Do I need a boating license?
-
No. We do require a driver's license.
​​
Can I move my reservation?
-
Yes, up until 24 hours before your reservation.
​
How do I change or cancel my reservation?
-
Click on the link in your reservation invoice and create an account with the same email you used to create your reservation.

Once logged in, click on your name at the top right.

Click on "Edit this booking".

Can I sign the waiver online?
-
No, we need to verify the person that made who reservation is the same as on the watercraft.

Where are the pontoons located?
-
Pontoons are located at the marina - 30443 Lake Logan Rd
Are holidays priced differently?
-
Pontoons are priced at weekend rates but everything else stays the same.

Where are the kayaks, paddle boards and pedal boats located?
-
These vessels are located at the Beach House, which is about one mile from the marina located at 29735 Lake Logan Rd
​
Can I launch my own kayak at the lake?
-
Yes. Lake Logan is a state park and open to all. Feel free to use our kayak launch at the beach.
​
What are the weight capacities?
-
Pedal Boat - 1,400 pounds

Single Kayak - 275 pounds

Double Kayak - 550 pounds
-
Paddle Board - 300 pounds

What do I need to bring with me?
-
The only thing you need to bring with you is a driver's license.
​
Is there an age minimum for rentals?
-
Children of any age can ride on a pontoon and count as a passenger.
-
Pontoon boat captains must be a minimum 18 years old.
-
A driver's license is needed for all rentals.
​
When should I arrive?
-
All members of your party should arrive 15 minutes prior to your reservation time for waiver completion, life jacket fitting and instructions.

Am I allowed to bring food and drink on board?
-
Yes, but state law prohibits alcohol on state park beaches and lakes.
-
No cooking or grilling is permitted on the watercraft.
​
Do you offer an all day rate or any discounts for longer rentals?
-
Yes, there is a 20% discount (ONLY on weekdays) if you rent 7 hours or more. It will automatically be applied on checkout.

What happens if I'm late returning?
-
Please don't be, as we are often sold out and others will be waiting on your rental.

You will be charged a late fee twice the hourly rate.
​
Is swimming allowed other than the beach area?
-
Yes, there is a designated area where you can swim off your boat.

A ladder is provided on each pontoon boat.
​
Is tubing allowed on the lake?
-
The State of Ohio does not allow tubing on the lake.
​
Are jet skis allowed on the lake?
-
No.
​
Are pets allowed?
-
Yes, but no more than two on a boat.
​
Are lifejackets required?
-
A life jacket will be provided for every passenger, as per Ohio boating regulations.

Children under the age of 10 must wear a life jacket at all times, but we encourage them to be worn by all passengers.

Lifejackets are included in the rental price.

If you bring your own, it must be Coast Guard approved.

How long should I rent a pontoon?

That depends on what you want to do.
-
If you just want to tour the lake, then 2 hours is plenty.
-
If you want to fish or swim then 3+ hours.
​
Can I fish off the boat?
-
Yes and you can fish anywhere in the lake except swimming areas.
​
Is a fishing license required?
-
Persons under 16 years of age are not required to purchase a fishing license.
-
Those 16 yrs and older are required.

Licenses can be purchased online HERE , most Walmarts or Downs Bait store located 1/8 mile from the marina.

What fish are in the lake?
-
Bass, bluegill, crappie, catfish and saugeye.
​
How deep is the lake?
-
The deepest part is around 20'.
​
What bait do you sell?
-
Nightcrawlers and wax worms.
-
We no longer sell live minnows.
-
There is a bait store 200 yards from the Marina that sells most of your fishing needs.

Do you sell gift certificates?
-
Yes they are available online by click on the reserve now buttons and choosing gift certificate. Once purchased, you will receive an email confirmation and be able to email the certificate to others.

Do you rent boat docks?
-
No, they are rented through the Ohio State Park Office on an annual basis. There are only 18 docks for rent and most renew each year. To see if any are available, call 740-279-4928 at the end of March.

Is food nearby?

We sell drinks and snacks at the Marina and Beach House.
